Abridged Style Guide

Wayfair has a long, comprehensive style guide that can be used for user experience and marketing content. I created an abridged version that helped make the guidelines more accessible and user-friendly for designers and product managers, ultimately leading to more consistent language in small projects that do not require consultation from a content strategist.

Product Description Guide

QVC sells a broad assortment of products online from an array of different categories. The categories used for online product descriptions are tailored to the specific needs and requirements of the product and are designed to provide customers with useful information so they can make informed purchasing decisions.

Beauty products are subject to regulatory restrictions that limit or prohibit certain types of claims about their effectiveness or benefits. These restrictions are in place to protect consumers from false or misleading advertising and to ensure that products are safe and effective. I created product description guidelines for beauty items that take into account these implications, making the internal legal process smoother and more efficient.
